1. Whitening Teeth with Lemon Juice

Rubbing a strawberry on your teeth may whiten them for a short period of time, but sugar and acid in the strawberry will harm your teeth more than it will help if you don't brush your teeth after. You should wait at least 20 minutes before washing your teeth because you could brush away some enamel if you do it immediately. 4. Whitening Teeth with Baking Soda

Procedure: Using Baking Soda with toothpaste while brushing

From all the home remedies for teeth whitening, this one doesn't really whitens your teeth, but it will help get plaque off and make them shine. Be warned that Baking Soda is an abrasive and if you use it too much, the enamel on your teeth can get damaged.

5. Whitening teeth with Hydrogen Peroxide:

There are studies being conducted upon hydrogen peroxide and DNA damage, cancer, reproductive disorders, etc. So I cannot stress enough to use the proper dilution rate, no more than twice a day, and do not swallow! There have been studies that Hydrogen peroxide mouth wash may whiten your teeth, but only if used properly.
